Our key staff have a broad range of experience stemming from senior roles held in major accounting firm such as KPMG and Ernest & Young, HMRC, law enforcement and legal firms.

It is this depth of experience which sets CGS apart. Our understanding of complex investigations from both a defence and prosecution background allows us to, where possible, avoid Court proceedings either with cession of proceedings or negotiated settlements.

CGS is currently handling and coordinating Europe’s largest tax investigation. This matter involves withhold tax on dividend arbitrage tax in several European countries with the tax exposure exceeding one billion pounds. CGS is working with several major law firms in a coordination role in the best interest of the client.
